Louisville City FC returns home to Slugger Field to take on Ottawa after notching a 0-3 win over Penn FC to get back into the win column on Wednesday night. The win bumped the club up to second place in the Eastern Conference. Saturday night’s matchup will complete the final leg of City’s three games in eight days.
Last Time Against Ottawa
In the lone previous meeting between the pair in July, LouCity defeated Ottawa, 0-3, on their turf. Oscar Jimenez delivered from a set-piece to Paolo DelPiccolo to open the scoring in the first half and sent another to Paco Craig to double the lead at the beginning of the second half. Devon “Speedy” Williams added the insurance goal for Louisville in the 57thminute to secure the three points.

LouCity and Ottawa’s first meeting of 2018 was the first time that Louisville grabbed three points at Ottawa. The other meeting at TD Place Stadium was a 1-1 draw in 2017. While the two sides have only been playing each other since 2017, Louisville City has only conceded two goals in three matches to the Fury. Louisville leads the all-time series 2-0-1.
