Louisville City FC is teaming up with local charities to join in the fight against Breast Cancer. The club will be wearing special pink and white kits during its match Saturday, Oct. 12.
Those special pink and white jerseys will be auctioned off after the match to benefit local charities such as the Baptist Health Foundation, Twisted Pink, Floyd Memorial Foundation, Pink Prom, and Sista Strut Louisville.
The new kits, designed with a primary white base and a special pink sash from the shoulder to the hip also include a custom LouCity crest in pink and white. The goalkeepers kits keep the same pink accents and pink and white LouCity crest, but the base of the jersey is light blue.
The LouCity Team Store will also have replica Pink Match jerseys on sale during Saturday’s match. The club also produced special pink scarves for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
