2024: Adams returns for his first full campaign in Louisville having signed a new multi-year contract in the offseason.
Last season: Adams arrived to Louisville as a midseason transfer after appearing 18 times for San Diego and immediately made an impact, starting in 15 of his 16 LouCity appearances. He also scored City’s lone goal in the 2023 Eastern Conference Final. The center back left the Loyal while leading them in minutes played (1,493), aerial duels won (54) and clearances (51).
Before Louisville City: Adams played collegiately at San Diego State in California and has spent the balance of his professional career in the United States. That includes stops at Rio Grande Valley FC, which he captained in 2019, and Real Monarchs before signing with San Diego in 2022. Along the way Adams earned a senior team New Zealand cap, plus represented his home country on youth national teams.
