Last Season: In his second full season as a pro, Moguel Jr. became a regular in the LouCity lineup, making 14 starts in 25 appearances while notching four assists, 13 interceptions, and 22 tackles won.
Highlights in Purple: Moguel Jr. scored the final goal in a penalty shootout victory over Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC in LouCity’s Eastern Conference Semifinal. The midfielder previously made his professional debut in an Oct. 23, 2021, win over Memphis 901 FC in which he entered as sub. Recorded his first career assists off a pair of corner kicks in a 3-2 win at Colorado Springs on Sept. 3, 2023.
Before Louisville City: Moguel attended Martha Layne Collins High School, where he was a Courier Journal All-Area nominee and honorable mention to the All-State list. Moguel then turned his focus more recently to LouCity. He was a key part of a successful run for the club’s first USL Academy League team. That group went an unbeaten 6-0-3 over the summer of 2021 playing against, among others, familiar USL rivals Indy Eleven and Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.
