Louisville City FC interim head coach Simon Bird has made two changes to his starting lineup for Saturday’s 7 p.m. meeting with El Paso Locomotive FC at Lynn Family Stadium.
Jansen Wilson will replace Ray Serrano, while Sean Totsch will start in place of Manny Perez.
The rest of the starting XI remains unchanged from LouCity’s 0-0 draw at San Antonio FC on Tuesday night in the Prinx Tires USL Cup semifinal. LouCity advanced in a penalty shootout, 8-7.
Chris Donovan will lead the line, with Mukwelle Akale lining up opposite Wilson on the wing.
Taylor Davila and Kevon Lambert will play in the midfield.
Totsch’s inclusion in the backline pushes Aiden McFadden into the right wingback place, after he played at center back on Tuesday.
Jake Morris will line up opposite McFadden at left wingback. Amadou Dia and Brandon Dayes will join Totsch as the three center backs. Dia will wear the captain’s armband.
In goal, Ryan Schewe starts for the second time. The 24-year-old loanee from Sporting Kansas City made three saves in the shootout Tuesday.
On the bench, Kyle Adams is available after missing Tuesday’s game for rest. He’s joined by Serrano and Perez, dropped from the starting group, among others.
