Coach Danny Cruz will revert to a winning lineup Saturday when Louisville City FC hosts Loudoun United FC in its 2025 home opener.
Ahead of a 4 p.m. kickoff at Lynn Family Stadium, Cruz’s two changes see Amadou Dia return to a starting role at left wingback while Jansen Wilson gets the nod in the attack.
This resets LouCity’s starting 11 to the same group that defeated top USL Championship Eastern Conference rival Charleston Battery back on March 8. Last weekend, City drew away to Birmingham Legion FC.
From back to front Saturday, Damian Las remains between the posts behind a LouCity defensive line of Kyle Adams — who continues to wear the captain’s armband — Arturo Ordóñez and Sean Totsch.
Manny Perez starts opposite of Dia at right wingback a week after scoring in the tie in Birmingham.
The midfield duo of Taylor Davila and Zach Duncan — fresh off his first assist in purple — stays untouched.
Phillip Goodrum leads the LouCity attack up front, flanked by Wilson and Ray Serrano, who scored in the win over Charleston.
All time, LouCity is 6-3-1 in home openers and 3-2 in home openers at Lynn Family Stadium.
Saturday’s game will air live locally on MyTV 58/The CW and ESPN Louisville’s AM 680/FM 105.7. For streaming coverage, download the free WDRB+ app to watch the local feed in Louisville or ESPN+ for national coverage.
