Louisville City FC head coach Danny Cruz will make two changes to his starting 11 when the boys in purple host Memphis 901 FC for a 7:30 p.m. Saturday matchup at Lynn Family Stadium.
Aiden McFadden (concussion protocol) and Adrien Perez (illness) are both back in the lineup after missing last weekend’s away loss at Detroit City FC. Of course, LouCity has made a habit of rebounding from each of its losses this season to win next out.
The opportunity is there, too, for first-place City to expand on its lead in the race for the USL Championship Players’ Shield with the Charleston Battery idle this weekend.
Defensively, Cruz maintains a consistent core of Kyle Adams, Arturo Ordóñez and Sean Totsch starting in front of goalkeeper Damian Las.
Amadou Dia, left, will get the start opposite of McFadden, right, on the wings. Elijah Wynder and Taylor Davila maintain their roles in the midfield.
Up top the boys in purple are led by Wilson Harris, with Perez and Ray Serrano flanking him.
Notably, Phillip Goodrum is unavailable Saturday after seeing a red card in the Detroit defeat.
City vs. Memphis is set to air locally on MyTV 58, WDRB+ and ESPN Louisville’s AM 680/FM 105.7. ESPN+ will carry national streaming coverage.
