The same lineup that has Louisville City FC off to a 2-0 start will return for Saturday’s 4 p.m. kickoff against Birmingham Legion FC.
Coach Danny Cruz elected for only one change on his 19-player team sheet, making Jorge Gonzalez available as a substitute at Lynn Family Stadium.
With LouCity sporting a 5-2-3 formation, Damian Las remains in goal behind center backs Kyle Adams, Arturo Ordóñez and Sean Totsch. The group has conceded just once in 180 minutes so far this year.
Jake Morris, left, and Jansen Wilson, right will man the wings as Taylor Davila and Elijah Wynder take up midfield spots.
The front three consists of Adrien Perez, Wilson Harris and Ray Serrano, who enters off arguably his best performance in purple. Serrano scored a goal, earned a penalty kick and saw a deflected pass lead to a goal in last weekend’s win over Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.
It’s a 19-player team sheet thanks to the inclusion of Hayden Stamps. The LouCity Academy standout is permitted a spot on the bench without taking a professional teammate’s spot thanks to a new 2024 USL Championship rule for players under age 17.
LouCity-Birmingham will air locally on WBKI/The CW and ESPN Louisville’s AM 680/FM 105.7 with streaming coverage via ESPN+.
