Louisville City FC defender Sean Totsch on Tuesday was named to the USL Championship All-League ranks for a fourth straight year, making the Second Team after First Team recognitions from 2020-2022.
All-League teams are voted on by club management and a league-wide media panel with representation from every USL market.
Totsch played every minute of LouCity’s 34-game season, achieving “ironman” status for the second time in his career. The center back also didn’t miss a minute during the 2021 campaign.
Totsch anchored a back line that contributed to a league-high 12 clean sheets during the regular season. A consistent threat on set pieces and from the penalty spot, he also scored six goals.
The defensive talisman led LouCity in a number of statistical categories, including duels won (149), clearances (86) and interceptions (44).
Totsch originally signed with LouCity in 2017 and has gone on to be part of every trophy earned in the club’s growing history. Out of Northern Illinois University, the 32-year-old also won a USL Championship title with the Rochester Rhinos as a rookie in 2015.
