Louisville City FC head coach Danny Cruz made just one change to his lineup for Saturday’s Eastern Conference Semifinal, swapping in Jorge Gonzalez for Rasmus Thellufsen.
LouCity kicks off at 7:30 p.m. against Detroit City FC, with the club hoping to see Gonzalez back in the same form as the last time these sides met at Lynn Family Stadium. The Spaniard did everything but score in City’s 1-0 victory on April 8, creating a game-high four chances versus Detroit while putting three of his own four shots on target.
Gonzalez figures to take up a spot in a front three also including center forward Cameron Lancaster and right winger Brian Ownby.
That trio will line up in front of a midfield group featuring Tyler Gibson, team captain Paolo DelPiccolo and LouCity Academy Carlos Moguel Jr.
The back four will consist of Wes Charpie, Kyle Adams, Sean Totsch and Manny Perez.
Goalkeeper Oliver Semmle returns between the posts.
