With Louisville City FC and Sporting KC II both winless since the USL Championship’s restart, stakes are high over the next five days.
First, the boys in purple host their Major League Soccer-affiliated counterparts at 8 p.m. Saturday before the clubs meet again Wednesday, with both tilts at Lynn Family Stadium.
Sporting KC II is also a member of the USL’s “Group E,” from which two teams will advance to the playoffs in October. LouCity occupies the third spot and Sporting the fourth, making this a key series for whichever side can work its way out from the bottom.
