A day out from Louisville City FC’s USL Championship restart, hosts Keith O’Loane and Casey Whitfield spoke with a wide-ranging cast during the latest edition of the the Soccer City radio show presented by Kentuckiana Toyota Dealers.
• James O’Connor, the club’s executive vice president of development and former coach, discussed some of LouCity’s beginnings, plus news this week that our town’s NWSL franchise has a crest and name: Racing Louisville FC.
• Tim Mulloy, with LouCity’s ownership group from the beginning, touched on the hopes and dreams that will come to fruition Sunday, when the boys in purple host Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC at 5 p.m. on ESPN2.
• Taylor Sorrels, original president of the supporters group The Coopers, went back to before there was a LouCity as local soccer fans rallied to bring the professional game to Louisville.
