With Louisville City FC’s USL Championship season restarting Sunday, broadcast partner WDRB is back to Yackin’ with Hack.
WDRB’s John Lewis sat down this week with coach and sporting director John Hackworth, who discussed how the boys in purple are managing to train — and now play — amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It just puts that much more emphasis not only the players and our staff, but everybody around them,” Hackworth said. “Family members, you can imagine, significant others, and what they do in their own life, is as important to what we do. All we can try to say is do all the little things.”
LouCity’s players will continue emphasizing wearing masks, physically distancing and, generally, using common sense to refrain from entering situations where they could be exposed to the coronavirus.
