Louisville City FC seeks a strong performance on the road against Penn FC as Los Morados round out a two-game road trip having drawn 2-2 with Riverhounds SC on Saturday night.
City still sits 3rd in the Eastern Conference standings after gaining a place on the Charleston Battery through goal difference. A win could also temporarily see City jump Pittsburgh for 2nd place.

Louisville City FC leaves Highmark Stadium with a point after a 2-2 draw with Riverhounds SC.
Slightly against the run of play, City were able to open the scoring and in spectacular fashion in the 32nd minute. Earning a free kick just inside the Pittsburgh half, defender Paco Craig clipped a ball into forward Cameron Lancaster at the edge of the 18-yard-box. Lancaster turned and fired a left-footed volley that landed cleanly and rolled into the back of the net.
At the break, City led Riverhounds SC, 0-1.
City could not be stopped as they doubled their advantage in the 70th minute thanks to a first professional goal by Alexis Souahy. As midfielder George Davis IV chipped a pass back to the far post, defender Paco Craig squared a headed pass to the Frenchman, who nodded home from close range.
In the 86th minute, things took a brief sour turn when City conceded an own goal to allow Riverhounds SC a way back into the match. Pittsburgh would earn a chance at a late equalizer as defender Oscar Jimenez was charged with bringing down a Riverhounds SC attacker in the penalty area. Stepping up to the spot, Pittsburgh skipper Kenardo Forbes sent Ranjitsingh the wrong way and converted his penalty to level the score at two apiece.
With not enough time to mount an attack, City were left frustrated but managed a point out of their final visit to Highmark Stadium in the regular season.
Rewind against Penn FC
Louisville City FC shared a point with visiting Penn FC in a 3-3 draw on Saturday night. The match began a stretch of five games in 14 days for LouCity across all competitions, though four of those five contests are in Louisville.
City trailed inside the opening 15 seconds on a goal from Penn FC’s Lucky Mkosana but scored three unanswered to close out the first half up 3-1. However, goals in the second half from Mkosana again and substitute forward Prince Baffoe helped the Harrisburg natives return home with a draw.
