Louisville City FC continues their Pennsylvania road trip with a visit to Penn FC Wednesday night. LouCity and Pittsburgh ended in a draw Saturday night after a last-minute converted penalty for the Riverhounds evened the score. Louisville sits in third place in the Eastern Conference, two points behind Pittsburgh after taking away one point from Saturday’s match.
Last Time Against Penn FC
Louisville City and Penn FC met once earlier this season for a six-goal affair in June, which resulted in a 3-3 draw at Slugger Field. The match saw Penn FC strike in the opening seconds to take a quick lead on a goal by Lucky Mkosana, followed by Paolo DelPiccolo scoring shortly after to even the sides at one apiece inside 10 minutes of play. Ilija Ilic earned a brace with goals in the 12th and 45th minute to put City ahead by two before Mkosana brought the visitors back within one in the 63rd minute. After holding the lead for just over 20 minutes, Prince Baffoe came on as a sub for Penn FC and found the equalizer in the 85th minute.
