The matchup marks the first challenge of the year for head coach James O’Connor and his squad.
When & Where
LouCity will host Young Harris College for the start of the club’s fourth preseason, which kicks off at 11 A.M. on Saturday, February 24. Hosted at Woehrle Athletic Complex, the squad returns following a two-week stint at IMG Academy in Florida.
The game is the first of five preseason contests – with an intrasquad scrimmage at Fort Knox next up on Tuesday, February 27.
Kick-off & Broadcast Information
Saturday morning’s contest gets underway at 11 A.M. Due to the match being held as a Season Ticket Member exclusive, there will be no other broadcast options – live or post-match.

Last Time Out
Familiar foes, LouCity and Young Harris College meet again after last years contest ended 3-1 to the “Boys in Purple.”
Returning players Cameron Lancaster, Luke Spencer, and Richard Ballard were all on the scoresheet that afternoon, with the Mountain Lions pulling one back just before half with a glimmer of hope for a result still shining.
Cameron Lancaster’s penalty in the 24th minute separated the sides initially, but as Young Harris College earned their equalizer just eight minutes later, O’Connor’s side pulled away early in the second half. Spencer found the back of the net in the 48th minute for the eventual winner while Ballard’s chip later on in the half sealed the preseason victory for his side.
Young Harris Ties Run Deep
In addition to meeting in past preseason contests, LouCity boasts a number of alumni from the Georgia-based institution, including forward Ilija Ilic, midfielder Niall McCabe, and defender Paco Craig.
