Both club and country will be represented Friday during Louisville’s largest United States Men’s National Team watch party.
With the U.S. hosting Mexico at 8 p.m. in a World Cup qualifier, Saints Pizza Pub & Skybar, is serving as the official spot for Louisville’s chapter of the American Outlaws, the nation’s supporters group.
Louisville City FC players Niall McCabe and Tim Dobrowolski will be on hand to sign autographs and mingle with fans at Saints, 131 Breckenridge Lane, throughout the game broadcast from Columbus, Ohio.
Saints will have on special pitchers of beer, and LouCity will give away a pair of white replica jerseys from its inaugural season. Fans can also enter to win or sign up to purchase tickets for 2017.
The U.S. is seeking its eighth straight World Cup bid and has advanced to the final qualifying round, nicknamed “The Hex.” It features six teams playing each other both home and away. The top three teams automatically qualify, and the fourth-place side can still move on via a playoff.
