1 – LouCity played more than 300 minutes of playoff soccer before notching its first postseason goal in regulation, Kadeem Dacres’ one-touch finish on a long ball through from Sean Reynolds.
2 – The boys in purple cemented their second straight trip to the USL Eastern Conference Final in as many seasons.
3 – LouCity is 3-1-0 in USL Cup Playoffs games, with the only defeat to the eventual champion Rochester Rhinos in last year’s Eastern Conference Final.
4 – The club’s leading scorer, Chandler Hoffman, went four games between starts for LouCity. He reclaimed his spot atop the attack Saturday.
5 – The Red Bulls II squeaked by the Rochester Rhinos on Friday by scoring all five of their penalty kicks; the Rhinos made four. LouCity has yet to go to penalties in a USL game but did prevail in a shootout against Detroit City FC in U.S. Open Cup play earlier this year.
7 – In the seven games since LouCity last played the Red Bulls II — on Aug. 19 — the boys in purple have out-scored opponents 13-2 while going 6-1-0. New York’s last loss came on July 30.
