Louisville City FC hit multiple milestones Saturday in a 2-0 win over the Richmond Kickers at Slugger Field.
0 – Richmond has yet to score a goal at Slugger Field. In the Kickers’ previous trip to town, on July 4, 2015, LouCity won by a 4-0 score.
2 – With Saturday’s victory, LouCity improved its series record against Richmond to 2-0-2. The teams played a scoreless draw earlier this season.
5 – Saturday’s game was only the fifth this season in which the Kickers conceded multiple goals.
8 – Louisville City is 8-2-5 at Louisville Slugger Field this season. Saturday’s win was its second in a row there after having gone between July 4 and Aug. 27 without a victory at home.
10 – With the win, LouCity snapped the Richmond Kickers’ 10-game unbeaten streak — their longest of the season — dating back to July 2.
14 – LouCity scored at least two goals in a game for the 14th time this season. The guys in purple are 12-0-2 when scoring two or more goals.
47 – Midfielder and team captain Aodhan Quinn made his 47th appearance Saturday for LouCity, most of any player to suit up for the club.
53 – Last year’s USL schedule consisted of 28 league games, and LouCity reached that mark Saturday with 53 total points. The club finished 2015, its inaugural season, with 45. LouCity’s goal differential through 28 games this year is the same as the last, plus-21.
