Against the Grain Brewery, the Louisville City FC pub partner located on the East side of Slugger Field, will serve as the official watch party spot for Saturday’s road game at FC Montreal.
With kickoff set for 3 p.m. between the USL Eastern Conference clubs, Against the Grain is offering 10 percent off appetizers during the game to anyone wearing LouCity gear. Also, the brewery donates 50 cents from each pint of Ball Control, a soccer-themed pale ale, to charity.
LouCity enters Saturday’s game off a victory over Bethlehem Steel FC at Slugger Field. Montreal, already defeated 2-0 by Louisville on July 4, has been on a tear lately, winning four straight.
LouCity will have a new goalkeeper between the posts with Greg Ranjitsingh active for Trinidad and Tobago’s World Cup qualifiers. Coach James O’Connor could debut rookie Tim Dobrowolski, or call upon Scott Goodwin, a fan favorite briefly coming out of retirement to help his club.
