LOUISVILLE, Ky. — With the United States set to play at 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Copa America semifinals, Louisville City FC has adjusted the start time for its upcoming home match to accommodate fans wanting to watch both.
LouCity and Toronto FC II will kick off at 7 p.m. at Louisville Slugger Field in their United Soccer League showdown before the U.S. plays either Argentina or Venezuela in Houston.
Tickets remain on sale to Tuesday’s LouCity match, with single-game admission starting at $15. Five-match packs to games are available as well.
Louisville enters this weekend No. 1 in the USL’s Eastern Conference standings with an 8-1-4 record. The club hasn’t lost since April 2 in league play during an unbeaten run of 11 games.
Earlier this season, LouCity topped Toronto FC II by a 2-0 score on the road. A second meeting with Toronto starts a string of four straight home game, with matchups against FC Cincinnati (June 25), FC Montreal (July 4) and the Charleston Battery (July 9) to follow.
