LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Andy Lubahn, a Louisville City FC substitute who sparked a comeback road victory Sunday against Orlando City B, on Tuesday earned his first spot on the United Soccer League’s Team of the Week.
Lubahn came off the bench in the second half, his team playing down a man, and in the 62nd minute assisted fellow Wake Forest product Ben Newnam’s game-tying goal. In the 65th minute, Lubahn scored on a shot of his own, a header assisted by Paolo DelPiccolo.
Lubahn, who played his first professional season for the Harrisburg City Islanders, this year joined a Louisville City team that hasn’t lost in its last 10 USL matches and leads the league’s Eastern Conference standings.

Wilmington Hammerheads FC midfielder Kyle Parker was voted USL Player of the Week after scoring twice last time out, including a game-winner in stoppage time. LouCity hosts the Hammerheads at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
