The anticipation for this upcoming season has reached a fever pitch unlike any other opening weekend in USL history. In celebration of the arrival of the 2016 USL season, exclusive Snapchat filters have been created to enhance fan experience at every single USL Kickoff Weekend game.
Make sure you sign into your Snapchat while you’re in the stadium and during the game to share this unique filter with your followers who couldn’t make it out to the match. The filter will be active one hour before, during and one hour after the conclusion of the game.
If you’re new to Snapchat here are a few tried and true tips to make sure you’re on your game during the game.
Add your USL team account if they have one. You don’t want to miss out on any unique content they create on their own.

Make sure your location filters are on. To do this from within the app, click the ghost at the top of the screen->Gear wheel->Manage
Save your snaps to your phone!
You can do this by clicking the arrow in the bottom left corner, either before you post it to your story or afterward. Note: You can’t save snaps once you have sent them to others!

The Contest

A single winner will be chosen after the conclusion of all games during the USL Kickoff Weekend. The lucky winner will be randomly selected from all entries and contacted the following week to receive their prize (a USL Swag Bag).
Entering 2016, Louisville City FC has returned 13 players from the 2015 roster — including reigning USL Goal of the Season winner Aodhan Quinn and former English Premier League striker Cameron Lancaster. New additions include MLS Cup-winning forward Chandler Hoffman, University of Louisville alumnus Paolo DelPiccolo and University of Kentucky alumnus Davis.
Louisville City FC begins regular season play on March 26 at Charlotte Independence. LouCity then returns to Louisville Slugger Field on April 2 to host New York Red Bulls II in the home opener, with a special 3 p.m. kickoff.
