LOUISVILLE, Ky — In an effort to strengthen it’s relationship with Youth Soccer in the area, Louisville’s professional soccer team, Louisville City FC, is offering a Youth Soccer Program. With the club hoping to help in the development of youth soccer, Louisville City is offering a plethora of incentives for clubs who choose to be a part of the partnership.
“The Youth Soccer program will give Louisville City FC and each youth soccer organization the opportunity to work together to provide the best experience possible for the youth soccer players,” Louisville City FC President Amanda Duffy said. “By providing more access to our players, coaches, and the organization, this program can help to grow the excitement of soccer in the area, which will benefit the players, parents, clubs, and the overall growth of the game.”
Youth Soccer partners will receive many benefits that will help build the excitement of the sport, and better the experience for their players. From being ball kids, to player escorts, to discounted tickets the partnership offers several Louisville City FC in-game options.
Seeing the game played at a professional level up-close, isn’t all that will be offered. Youth Soccer partners will also be eligible to see how the pros train by getting access to a Louisville City practice. Coaches and/or players will provide an offsite clinic for participating partners at a location of the youth clubs’ choice. Also, Louisville City FC is offering promotional items such as social media mentions, a Spotlight Video, and in-game recognition.
The partnership includes many more opportunities for youth clubs than what is listed above. Louisville City FC’s Campbell Brewer, who is the main contact for clubs interested in partnering with LouCity, played youth soccer in Louisville. He says this is something he would have benefited from during his youth playing day.
“As someone who grew up playing soccer in Louisville, I would have loved to have the experiences that will be available to these players and their clubs,” Brewer said. “I look forward to developing the relationships with each club to make those experiences a reality for their kids.”
