Sean Totsch will make his 295th career USL Championship regular season appearance Saturday as Louisville City FC hosts Las Vegas Lights FC at Lynn Family Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
The appearance equals Kenardo Forbes for the USL Championship career appearances record.
Totsch is one of just six players who keep their places from last week’s 2-0 win at Pittsburgh.
Among head coach Danny Cruz’s five changes is a fresh front three. Sam Gleadle will lead the line at center forward, making his first start since June 25, a 4-1 win at Loudoun United. Ray Serrano will flank him on the left, returning to the starting XI for the first time since Aug. 23 vs. New Mexico United. And Jansen Wilson starts on the right after tallying an assist off the bench last week.
The other changes come on the backline, with Amadou Dia replacing Kyle Adams at left center back. Adams is unavailable on personal leave.
Jake Morris will play to Dia’s left at wingback. It will be Morris’ second league start of the season. His first came in his last appearance, Aug. 23 vs. New Mexico United.
Aiden McFadden will shift to right wingback.
Josh Jones returns as the middle of the center back trio. It will be the rookie’s 11th straight start.
In the midfield, Taylor Davila and Kevon Lambert have solidified themselves as Cruz’s first choice pairing, and start together once more. Davila will wear the captain’s armband, with Adams out and captain Brian Ownby on the bench.
Notably joining Ownby on the bench is Phillip Goodrum. LouCity’s leading scorer with 12 goals, Goodrum returns from an injury he suffered at Indy Eleven on Aug. 30. Among the remaining subs, Niall McCabe, Adrien Perez, Evan Davila and Cameron Lancaster have each contributed a goal or an assist.
The game is Noche Latina, a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. For tickets and more information, visit LouCity.com/nochelatina.
