Louisville City FC’s bringing some mayhem to its Saturday, Aug. 26, home game against Oakland Roots SC.
The club has partnered with Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon to celebrate Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Night at Lynn Family Stadium in conjunction with the release of the new movie, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” in theaters now.
The evening will showcase Turtles-themed gear, activations and giveaways coinciding with the game kicking off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at LouCity.com/tickets or by calling (502) LOU-CITY during regular business hours.
The Fan Zone at Lynn Family Stadium’s Waterfront end opens at 6 p.m. with entertainment for the whole family, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coloring pages for the kids. Fans can also pick up a complimentary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed poster on their way through gates starting at 6:30 p.m.
Look for LouCity players entering the field in special-edition Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem warmup jerseys. Following the game, each shirt will be signed by the player and auctioned starting Monday, Aug. 28. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit LouCity & Racing Foundation.
Also keep an eye on the video board for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles content, including halftime trivia. The on-field winner will receive a team-issue warmup top and gift card to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem in theaters.
Fans can also enter for a chance to win a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles prize pack including four game tickets, four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem warmup tops and a gift card to see the new film. The winner will be contacted Thursday, Aug. 24.
On the field, this will mark the first meeting between traditional Eastern Conference power LouCity and Oakland Roots, from the Western Conference, as both clubs position themselves for this fall’s USL Championship Playoffs.
