LouCity will be making its unprecedented 12th consecutive appearance in the USL Championship Playoffs. The Top 8 clubs from the Eastern and Western conferences qualify for the single-elimination bracketed tournament, with the Top 4 earning the right to host in the Conference Quarterfinal round.
LouCity has clinched the Eastern Conference’s No. 4 seed. A playoff opponent — one of Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, the Hartford Athletic or Miami FC — will be determined by this weekend’s results as the regular season closes.
Should LouCity advance, home-field advantage will continue to be awarded to the better-seeded team on a round-by-round basis throughout the single-elimination playoffs.
LouCity’s looking to add to a decorated playoffs history that includes consecutive league titles in 2017 and 2018, plus Eastern Conference crowns in 2019 and 2022. City also won the Players’ Shield — the Championship’s regular season title — in 2024 and 2025. The club added its first USL Cup to the trophy case earlier this season.
