The defender experienced a breakout season in purple in 2022 as he led the team in minutes played (2,782), clearances (76), and blocks (16) while also tying for second place in interceptions (41). Charpie was vital for a defense that only conceded 33 goals in 34 regular season games that year.
Before Louisville City: An All-American Athletic Conference selection for the University of South Florida in 2014, Charpie was selected as the eighth pick of the second round of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft. Charpie played for Toronto FC II in 2015, moved to Saint Louis FC in 2016 and the Jacksonville Armada in 2018 before spending 2019 with Memphis 901 FC.
