2022: After completing a consecutive All-League First Team season, Totsch returns for his sixth year with Louisville City FC.
Last Season: Louisville City FC’s own Ironman, Totsch competed every minute of the 2021 season that saw the boys in purple return to a seventh Eastern Conference Final. He led the team in clearances (101), interceptions (47), and blocks (15), and anchored a LouCity backline that allowed the second fewest shots (106) in the league.
Highlights in purple: A stalwart for the club, Totsch currently ranks first in club history for minutes played with 12,135. He led LouCity in tackles in 2017 and 2018 as the boys in purple lifted a pair of USL Cups. Totsch made 2020 his best individual campaign yet as he led the team in clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles en route to claiming USL Championship All-League First Team honors.
Before Louisville City: A three-time USL Cup champion, the Illinois native lifted his first trophy with the Rochester Rhinos in 2015. Totsch suited up for the Chicago Fire U-3s between 2012 and 2014 while also starring at NCAA Division I Northern Illinois University. For the Huskies, Totsch totaled 64 appearances, with 47 starts and 6 goals. He also served as team captain as a senior. That year, he was the school’s only player to start every match and earned all-tournament honors at the school’s adidas Invitational.
