LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville City FC has teamed up with new corporate partner and long-time Slugger anchor tenant, Against the Grain, for the 2016 season. In season one, Against the Grain became a regular meeting spot and destination for many avid LouCity supporters for home and road matches. Against the Grain will further enhance that relationship as a sponsor for the in-stadium supporters section.
“Against the Grain is excited to continue our relationship with Louisville City FC and with all of its great supporters,” Against the Grain’s Adam Watson said. “We have always been home to many of the LouCity supporters, and it’s great to now be official sponsors of the team. We look forward to lots of great soccer and great beer — Go City.”
Against the Grain will also directly support the club, providing players a post-game meal following home matches played on-site at Slugger.
“We’re appreciative of the willingness by Against the Grain to show support for the club early on in our existence,” Louisville City FC director of corporate partnerships and community relations Jason Eiche said. “The staff there have been supportive from day one and this certainly will help further develop what we want to be a strong relationship between a great local business, an avid fanbase and a growing club.”
Per Club policy, the terms of partner agreements are not disclosed.
Louisville City FC will return to action Wednesday, April 27, for a home match with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds (7:30 p.m. | TICKETS). A limited number of LouCity Match Packs (4 tickets | 4 shirts | On-field VIP experience) are available now for $60 with promo code 4FOR60 when selecting the Group Zone.
