2020: Known for his professionalism, Davis IV has used a strong fitness regimen to continue his career with a fifth season for LouCity.
2019: Davis IV started just 13 games but found the back of the net in three of them as a super sub of sorts. He totaled 32 appearances and boasted an 81% success rate on passes.
2018: Similar to in 2017, Davis IV ended the season third in goals with eight total. His 27 starts and 2,337 minutes of game play made him a reliable midfielder in the club’s second title run. Different this time, however, was Davis IV’s inclusion in LouCity’s “triumvirate” of player-coaches while the head coaching role remained open between James O’Connor’s departure and John Hackworth’s hiring.
2017: Davis IV made a major impact on the club’s first title run in what was his second season with LouCity. He started 28 games and logged 2,198 minutes played while tying for third on the team in goals scored.
2016: Signed Davis IV to the club January 15, 2016, as LouCity’s first player out of the University of Kentucky. The midfielder connected on six goals during the season including an impressive goal in the playoffs against his former club, the Richmond Kickers.
Before Louisville City: Davis IV played collegiate soccer at the University of Kentucky. After UK, Davis IV joined the Dayton Dutch Lions as a part of the USL Premier Development League. During the 2012 and 2013 seasons he played as a member of the Los Angeles Blues before signing a contract with the Richmond Kickers for 2014 and 2015. With the Kickers, Davis IV tallied 19 goals and made 53 appearances over two seasons, plus appeared on the all-USL first team.
